BJ's

[edit]

The article lists TJX as owning BJ's, but BJ's article says TJX spun them off several years ago. Mbisanz 00:42, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

also, txj article at beginning mentions opening bj's in 1984; it's listed under "former chains"; but then history is silent (on both opening and divestment). can someone please loop the loop?--98.116.115.220 (talk) 23:16, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Undue weight on the computer intrusion issue?

[edit]

It took place a few years ago now, and it's taking up a third of the article on TJX. Isn't that a bit much? Hanxu9 (talk) 17:57, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I reckon it's about a tenth of the article. The repercussions are ongoing. TJX entered into a consent decree with the FTC. It agreed to 20 years of security audits. Has TJX been passing those audits? Isn't that important? Pretty groundbreaking consent decree. Shouldn't that be mentioned in the article?
Did we mention the $10 million class action settlement and the $65 million it paid to settle with Visa and Master Card, and the settlement with banks, for something under $107 million? Oh, and it seems to have impacted about 100 million customers, not 50 million, per https://www.consumeraffairs.com/tj-maxx-data-breach! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:643:8300:B030:B0DA:E023:BC90:F792 (talk) 01:10, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
